About half way through the my eighth grade year councilors came to my school. They gave us choices on high schools to apply to. My choices were Ventura, Buena, and applying to Foothill. I needed to make a choice.
I wanted to go to Ventura because a lot of my friends went there. The same thing with Buena. Foothill... Foothill I had friends but not as good and close as the ones at Ventura or Buena. Foothill also is a good school no fights, bullying or anything stupid like that. I still had a big choice to make.
My head was telling me to go to Foothill for my education. My heart was telling me to go to Ventura or Buena cause my close friends went there.
I decided to research Foothill more than Buena or Ventura. I shadowed my friend Sarah Ashley as research. While shadowing i realized how amazing Foothill really was. Cool teachers,cool kids, and we are accepted to be weird and nerds! I still needed to make my decision.
I didnt sit down with my parents at all. I sat down with myself. I thought that I might as well get a good education and friends than a crappy education and friends.I made my decision... Foothill here i come! with great luck after i applied i got in! yayy!
So in conclusion I had a big choice to make. I did my research and I made a choice a BIG choice.I am very happy with my choice to go to Foothill Technology High School.
